Building questions and answers (corpus)

The effort to produce the initial set of questions and answers differs between industries, companies and applications. In some cases the information is well documented and can easily be transformed such that it fits a Ergo installation, in other cases there is nothing to start from. Irrespective of your situation, Dialogue Technologies have the experience and resources to assist you.

Developing an Ergo application

Overview

Development of a reasonably sized Ergo system typically takes 1-2 months, engaging 1-2 persons in the process. Refining the application is an on-going activity, but the applications typically start to save money within 2-3 months from the day the project started.

Application development

Application development is done in three steps:

1. Scoping of the knowledge domain that the application shall cover (documented in a corpus),

2. Creation of a corpus in MaintenanceView, and

3. Building of the application using the Customizer tool.

Maintenance of the application is supported by the software tool LogView.

System Integration

In most customer situations, system integration is straight forward. Additional work might be required if information is to be retrieved from an existing data repository.

Installation and Operation

Dialogue Technologies will do the systems installation for you, or provide you with the necessary tools and training to do it yourself.
